The game against McNeese serves as a bit of a buffer between two high-profile matchups – one to start the season against the Irish and the first SEC contest of the season coming against the Florida Gators.
The only previous gridiron meeting between the Aggies and FCS McNeese came back in 2001 at Kyle Field. Texas A&M won that matchup 38-24. McNeese’s 2023 record was 1-10.
