Mount McKinnley is headed to Cincy
McKinnley Jackson, one of five Aggies invited to the NFL Combine this year, was selected in the third round by the Cincinnati Bengals. Jackson, the second Aggie to be drafted so far, was taken with the 97th overall pick.

A former blue-chipper from Lucedale, MS, McKinnley has been a mainstay on the Aggie defensive line since his arrival in 2020. Jackson served as a team captain the last two seasons and helped anchor an A&M defense that lead the SEC in rushing yards allowed in 2023. With his disruptive style of play, Jackson racked up 27 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, and 3 sacks in his senior campaign.
The Bengals drafted another DT in the second round, Michigan’s Kris Jenkins, and have two veterans on the inside. This should allow McKinnley to work his way into the rotation for Cincy, and he and Jenkins could be an exciting duo in the future.
