Because of course we did.
With Texas A&M taking on FCS opponent McNeese this Saturday, there’s a bit less focus on the upcoming football game. That of course means we can all get back to paying attention to our jobs and families find other trivial things to distract us. To that end, I give you 3D-PRINTED REVEILLE!
Our 3D Reveille has started her semester-long campus tour, so keep an eye out for her in and around campus. This week, she is at the Coke building, where the College of Architecture administration works. Learn more about how she was created at https://t.co/oyTqNShrAJ. pic.twitter.com/j3h7Os93M5

This was achieved by putting the real Reveille X inside a 360-degree scanner inside the Langford Architecture Building that features 66 high-resolution DSLR cameras. From this, a 3D model was created, and then brought to life using a BigRep ONE printer. The project took 69 hours to print (nice) and was then hand-painted.
The model, incased in protective glass, is now in the midst of a semester-long campus tour.
