Hello, nighttime kickoffs!
Traditionally, the SEC has been very tight-lipped about the TV windows for football games, only releasing them 12 days before kickoff outside of a handful of premier matchups announced in advance. But throw that out the window this year, because we now have kickoff time windows FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON.
The @SEC has announced tv windows for the entire 2024 season.

Easily the most notable change this season is the decrease in 11 a.m. kickoffs and the increase in evening ones. In 2023, the Aggies had six 11 a.m. kicks and only two at 5 p.m. or later. This year, A&M has only two 11 a.m. kicks (one of them at 11:45, actually), four night games, and four more “flex” games that could start in the 2:30 window or in the evening (to be determined closer to kickoff).
In addition to times, several games also got TV networks announced.
- We already knew this information for the first three games against Notre Dame (ABC), McNeese (SEC Network) and Florida (ABC)
- The Bowling Green game (Sept. 21) will be on streaming only (one game per year always is)
- The Missouri game (Oct. 5) will be on either ABC or ESPN
- The New Mexico State game (Nov. 16) will be on SEC Network
While several games still carry the TBD tag, providing more precise windows of time for these games is great for fans, allowing you to finalize travel plans if you’re going to the game, or just other weekend plans if you’re watching from home.
