Texas A&M scored a massive 38-23 victory over LSU at Kyle Field on Saturday and landed two of their own on the list of SEC weekly honors. On Monday, the SEC released their Week 9 Players of the Week which included QB Marcel Reed being named Freshman of the Week and P Tyler White as Special Teams Player of the Week. This is the second such honor for Reed this season and a team-leading third selection for White.

Marcel Reed ignited the Aggies’ offense in their comeback win against LSU. After entering in the third quarter, Reed immediately scored with an 8-yard touchdown run and followed with two more drives, each capped by rushing touchdowns. He finished with three rushing touchdowns and went 2-for-2 passing for 70 yards, including a 54-yard strike. His play sparked a 21-point surge, helping Texas A&M overcome a halftime deficit and secure victory.

Tyler White delivered a standout performance against LSU, punting five times with four downed inside the 20-yard line and no return yardage allowed. Averaging 48.4 yards per punt, including a long of 54 yards, he helped pin LSU deep with starting positions at their 7-, 10-, 14-, and 13-yard lines, showcasing his accuracy and control.
