The Aggies get some needed shooting help
If there was one weakness of Texas A&M’s 2023-24 basketball team, it was perimeter shooting and free throws. They seem to have made a move to address that deficiency on Monday, as Nebraska Cornhuskers guard C.J. Wilcher announced his commitment to the Aggies.

Wilcher shot 39.4% from three-point range and 93.9% from the free throw line in just under 18 minutes per game for the Huskers. Compared to the Ags’ players in 2023-24, that three-point percentage would be second only to Boots Radford, and his free throw percentage would be better than anyone.
