Final meeting in Jerryworld will be in a prime time slot
No. 24 Texas A&M will kick off against the Arkansas Razorbacks at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 on ESPN, it was announced on Sunday. The Southwest Classic has been played at AT&T Stadium 12 times since being rekindled in 2009, but this year will be the final year before the game returns to campus.
The time is set Aggies. See y’all there.

When these teams meet in this building, weird things happen. Of the 12 matchups in Arlington, eight have been one-score games with three going to overtime. Vegas has A&M as 6-point favorites, so this year could be more of the same.
Arkansas (3-1) is coming off an ugly 24-14 win over Auburn, a game that felt like neither team wanted to win. The Aggies are 3-1 as well, but aren’t quite clicking on all cylinders just yet. The timeline for the return of QB Conner Weigman (shoulder injury) is unknown, while backup Marcel Reed has been inconsistent since filling in. A&M has had inconsistencies on defense as well.
This a big game for A&M. The remaining schedule looks more favorable by the day, but the Aggies need to continue to improve and take their game to a new level. A win against the hogs would set up a pivotal matchup against top-10 Mizzou the following week.
