In the 247 Sports composite rankings, Armstrong is ranked the No. 110 recruit nationally, the No. 3 TE and the No. 18 player in Texas. He chose the Ags over Texas, LSU and Baylor, among many others. At 6’6”, Armstrong has the potential to be a big-time weapon in the passing game, and offensive coordinator Collin Klein is known for his TE utilization. That likely played no small part in Armstrong choosing the good guys.
The Aggies now have 14 commits in their 2025 recruiting class, which moves up to No. 7 nationally.
