Aggies get their third 2026 commit of the day after big LSU win
They say good things come in threes, and apparently that applies to Texas A&M recruit commitments as well. After getting commitments from four-star WR Aaron Gregory and four-star EDGE Jordan Carter earlier in the day, the Aggies wrapped up the weekend by getting a commitment from yet another blue chipper: four-star LB Samu Moala.
BREAKING: Four-Star LB Samu Moala (2026) has Committed to Texas A&M, he tells me for @on3recruits
The 6’4 230 LB from Carson, CA chose the Aggies over USC, Texas, & Tennessee

Moala is ranked as the No. 172 recruit in the country, the No. 14 EDGE (though he is likely being recruited at LB) and the No. 20 player in California. He chose the Aggies over offers from USC, Texas and Tennessee, among many others.
This commitment gives the Aggies a total of seven commits in their 2026 recruiting class, which is currently ranked No. 2 in the country. Granted, having seven commits this early is a big part of that high ranking, but this class is also being built on quality, not just quantity (Gregory and Carter are both national top 50 commits).
And of course, most importantly, this would give A&M two Samus: Moala and Taumanupepe.
