Well that’s one way to change things up
We knew that there was a chance of rain in Gainesville on Saturday, but nobody told us ICE was in the forecast. Texas A&M unveiled their uniform combination for their game against the Florida Gators on Thursday, and for the first time in more than seven years, the Aggies will wear all white.

The Aggies are in the midst of a 10-game road losing streak, the second-longest active streak in the country. So even if those losses aren’t on head coach Mike Elko’s ledger, it’s understandable if he and his staff wanted to change things up. In addition to the uniform white helmets, the Aggies will also leave for Florida on Friday, two things that did not happen under Jimbo Fisher (who had the team leave on Thursdays).
Texas A&M has had some notable success in all white since joining the SEC, notably taking down No. 1 Alabama in Tuscaloosa, routing Oklahoma in the 2013 Cotton Bowl and blowing out a “top 10” South Carolina team to open the 2014 season. Just don’t ask what happened the last time we wore all white.
