Can we get an SEC road win at The Swamp?
Texas A&M and Florida both got back to ,500 with convincing wins over FCS opponents in Week 2, and will now face each other to begin SEC play next Saturday in Gainesville.
As we sit here on Sunday morning, the Aggies are listed as four-point favorites, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
As most A&M fans know, this team has not won a true road game since 2021, a monkey that Mike Elko and his new staff are likely eager to get off of this team’s back. And Florida, having gotten blown out two weeks earlier against Miami, certainly feels like a winnable game. But freshman QB D.J. Lagway’s performance against Samford (yes, it was Samford), may give Gator fans a glimmer of hope (assuming he gets the nod over incumbenet starter Graham Mertz).
The game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. Saturday and will air on ABC.
