If there’s any game I’d never bet, it’s this one.
After scraping together a 26-20 win over Bowling Green, Texas A&M resumes SEC play as they travel to Arlington (for the final time) to face the Arkansas Razorbacks. Betting lines were release on Sunday, and the Aggies are a 5.5-point favorite, according to DraftKings.
Both teams are 3-1 overall after losing to ranked teams (the Aggies to Notre Dame, Arkansas to Oklahoma State) and both are 1-0 in SEC play (A&M beating Florida and Arkansas beating Auburn). They even both struggled with a G5 opponent, with Arkansas only beating UAB by 10 after trailing early in Week 3.
In addition to the two teams’ resumes being eerily similar thus far, this game seems to always be close, and always have some crazy stuff happen. I’m not a betting man to begin with, but if I were, you could not convince me to ever try and predict what would happen in this one. That said, the winner will get a healthy dose of optimism by starting the season 4-1 and 2-0 in SEC play.
