So many night games
After playing just two night games in the 2023 regular season, Texas A&M can’t get enough of them in 2024. The Aggies found out on Monday that they’ll play their sixth evening kick of the season when they travel to Auburn to face the Tigers on Saturday, Nov. 23. The game will begin at either 6:30 or 6:45 p.m., and air on either ESPN or SEC Network.

Auburn will be only the second SEC opponent the Aggies have faced this month after a bye week last Saturday and a non-conference game against New Mexico State on tap for Nov. 16. The Tigers, similarly, were on bye last weekend and host Louisiana Monroe this weekend.
The Aggies (7-2, 5-1) are one of only three teams who still control their own destiny in the SEC race (Tennessee and Texas being the other two). If the Aggies win their last three regular season games, culminating with the Texas game on Nov. 30, the are guaranteed to make their first appearance in the SEC Championship Game since joining the conference in 2012. If A&M loses a game, they aren’t eliminated from contention, but they’d need a good amount of help in order to come out on top of what looks to be a very crowded top of the SEC as the regular season winds down.
