Texas A&M was in need of additional depth along the defensive line, and they took some major strides on that front on Monday, adding two SEC linemen in Georgia’s Sam M’Pemba and Florida’s T.J. Searcy.

M’Pemba is ranked as the No. 318 player in the transfer portal and the No. 35 Edge, according to 247 Sports. He appeared in 15 games in two years in Athens and has three years of eligibility remaining.
Searcy is ranked a the No. 92 overall player in the transfer portal and the No. 12 Edge, according to 247 Sports. He appeared in 12 games each of the past two seasons, totaling 60 tackles, 8 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
The Aggies now have a total of nine transfer portal commits this cycle, and that class is currently ranked No. 6 nationally.
