A week of mostly chalk sees little movement across the board
Last week, Texas A&M surged in the AP Top 25 (up 10 spots) and USA Today Coaches Poll (7 spots), but after a bye for the Ags and a calmer week across college football, A&M stayed put in the Coaches Poll and moved up one spot in the AP, now at No. 14 in both polls.

Compared to the carnage from a week ago, this past Saturday was a relatively calm one in the top 25 rankings. The biggest upsets were Arizona State beating No. 16 Utah, No. 13 LSU beating No. 9 Ole Miss and No. 3 Oregon beating No. 2 Ohio State. And all of those mild upsets were done by the home team, making them far from surprising.
A&M resumes SEC next Saturday as they take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Starkville at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Aggies are a 15-point favorite and the game will air on SEC Network.
