And the sports world noticed
Texas A&M softball began their 2025 season with wins over Utah State and Purdue, but the biggest thing to come out of yesterday’s games was the highlight reel catch made by Aggie outfielder Kramer Eschete. In the second inning against Utah State, Eschete chased down a foul ball, reaching over the wall for an incredible snag. Until the force of hitting the wall threw the ball out of her glove and up into the air. But Eschete stayed with it to make a diving catch and record the out.

Unsurprisingly, the clip spread like wildfire on social media, getting picked up by the likes of Major League Baseball, ESPN, SEC Network, Yahoo Sports, the NCAA Softball account and more.
