Good.
Texas A&M had one of the more dominant weekends of baseball in recent memory, sweeping No. 6 Vanderbilt by a combined score of 36-6 at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. That combined with the fact that Arkansas and Clemson (the two teams ahead of the Aggies in most rankings) both lost their weekend series opened the door for the Ags to potentially move into that coveted No. 1 spot.
They not only did so, they did it in EVERY major baseball poll.

That’s right, your Aggies are ranked No. 1 by Baseball America, D1 Baseball, the National College Baseball Writers’ Association, Perfect Game as well as the USA Today Coaches Poll.
But the Aggies can’t rest on their laurels, as they have a midweek game against Air Force before traveling to Tuscaloosa for a weekend series with Alabama – the very team who just knocked Arkansas from the No. 1 spot this past weekend. Not to mention that I doubt reaching No. 1 in mid-April was high on anyone’s list of goals.
This team is very much in the running for an SEC regular season title (three games behind Kentucky and one game behind Arkansas). And of course, the even bigger goal is earning a national seed and paving the way for a trip to Omaha for the second time in Jim Schlossnagle’s three seasons in College Station.
