Incredible Olympics for A&M track and field alums
After Bryce Deadmon and Shamier Little helped the US earn silver in the mixed 4x400m relay, they each added a gold medal to their tally in the men’s and women’s events. These are the first gold medal for Aggies in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The Aggies sent 24 total representatives to the Paris Olympics, and already had six previous athletes win medals this weekend:
- Casey Kaufhold (bronze, mixed archery)
- Austin Krajicek (silver, men’s doubles tennis)
- Bryce Deadmon/Shamier Little (silver, mixed 4x400m)
- Lindon Victor (bronze, decathlon)
- Fred Kerley (bronze, men’s 100m)
Texas A&M women’s basketball coach Joni Taylor is also an assistant coach for the US women’s basketball team, who plays for the gold medal on Sunday.
