Aggies get a huge (literally) addition to their 2025 recruiting class
The 2025 crop of offensive linemen is a great one in the Lone Star State, with three five-star OTs in Texas alone. Somewhat surprisingly, all three committed to out-of-state schools this offseason. But now that’s changed. After de-committing from Missouri on Monday afternoon, five-star Mesquite Horn OT Lamont Rogers has committed to Texas A&M.

Rogers is ranked as the No. 26 player in the country, the No. 5 OT and the No. 9 player in Texas, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He committed to Missouri in June, but visited Texas A&M several times during the season, including Saturday’s game against Texas.
He instantly becomes the Aggies’ top-rated commit in their 2025 recruiting class. The class now has 23 total commits, and is ranked No. 9 in the country according to 247 Sports.
