Aggies pick up a blue chip recruit at a position of need
Wide receiver is a priority position for Texas A&M in the 2025 recruiting class, and on Tuesday they secured a commitment from one of their main targets in four-star Hitchcock WR Kelshuan Johnson.

Johnson is ranked as the No. 196 recruit in the country, the No. 21 wide receiver and the No. 30 player in Texas, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He chose the Aggies over Texas, Texas Tech, Arkansas and USC, among many others. He is the second receiver in the Ags’ 2025 class, joining three-star Montgomery Alabama wideout Tristan Norman.
A&M now has a total of 19 commits in this year’s recruiting class, which is currently ranked as the No. 7 class in the country.
