The Aggies now have the top-ranked recruiting class for 2026
We may all still be reeling from Texas A&M’s 44-20 loss to South Carolina last weekend, but the Aggies are also still reaping the recruiting benefits of their 38-22 home win over LSU on Oct. 26. The latest edition came in the form of four-star TE Xavier Tiller, who after visiting for the LSU game, committed to the Aggies on Monday afternoon.

The 6’4” tight end is ranked as the No. 79 recruit nationally, the No. 4 tight end and the No. 11 player in his home state of Georgia, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He committed to the Aggies over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Ole Miss and Texas, among many others.
His commitment gives A&M eight commits in their 2026 recruiting class, including three ranked in the top 100 nationally. And while it’s insanely early, the class is now ranked No. 1 in the country. Not a bad start for Mike Elko and his staff.
