Aggies add second TE to 2026 class
If there’s anything we’re learning about Texas A&M Offensive Coordinator Collin Klein, it’s that’s he can’t have enough tight ends. That trend continued on Saturday, as the Aggies got their second TE commit of the 2026 class when four-star recruit Caleb Tafua committed to A&M.

Tafua is ranked as the the No. 241 recruit nationally, the No. 27 player in California and the No. 11 tight end, according the the 247 Sports composite rankings. He is the ninth commit for A&M in the 2026 recruiting class, and the second one from California. That’s particularly notable considering that the Aggies got three signees from California in the 2025 class as well.
The 2026 Aggie recruiting class is currently ranked No. 2 in the country (though volume is as big a driver in that as anything this early in the recruiting cycle).
