Aggies get their 2026 QB
Is it too soon for fans to worry about 2026 recruiting? Probably, but don’t tell that to Mike Elko and his staff. Texas A&M went into Utah and got their QB for the next recruiting cycle, securing a commitment on Thursday from four-star signal caller Helaman Casuga.

Casuga is currently ranked as the No. 173 recruit in the country, the No. 14 QB and the No. 4 player in Utah, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He chose the Aggies over USC and Washington, among many other offers. It’s also worth nothing that Casuga is the QB for four-star WR Jerome Myles, who is committed to USC but the Aggies have pursued heavily.
A&M now has three commits in the 2026 class, with Casuga joining S Markel Ford and CB Ryan Gilbert.
