Aggies add yet another o-lineman
For the second time in as many days, Texas A&M has added an offensive linemen to their 2025 recruiting class. This time, it’s four-star Bridgeland OL Jonte Newman.

Newman is rated as the No. 400 recruit in the country, the No. 24 interior lineman and the No. 61 player in Texas. He is now the fourth Maroon Goon in the Aggies’ current recruiting class, joining fellow four-star OT Marcus Garcia (who committed last weekend) and three-star IOL Connor Carty and Joshua Moses.
The Aggies got Newman’s commitment over offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, USC, TCU and Houston, among others.
With this commitment, the Aggies are up to nine commits, all of whom are from Texas outside of four-star California QB Husan Longstreet. The class moves up to No. 12 nationally with this commitment.
