Aggies add another 2025 blue chip defender
Texas A&M appears to be loading up in the 2025 class at a level they haven’t done in several years, and they added to their haul again on Tuesday. Just hours after getting a commitment from DL Chase Sims, Mike Elko and his staff have added another, as four-star Danville, CA edge rusher Marco Jones committed to the Aggies.

Jones is ranked as the No. 167 player in the country, the No. 15 edge rusher and the No. 15 player in California. He chose the Aggies over Michigan, Texas and USC, among many other offers. Jones also plays baseball.
The Aggies now (somehow) have four of the top 15 players in California committed to them in the 2025 recruiting class, with Jones (No. 15), LB Noah Mikhail (No. 5), CB Adonyss Currie (No. 3) and QB Husan Longstreet (No. 2).
A&M now has a total of 18 commits in this class, which moves up to No. 5 nationally.
