Texas A&M got their third commit of the past week and their eighth overall in the 2025 recruiting class on Thursday, as three-star Prosper OL Connor Carty announced his commitment to the Aggies.

Carty is listed at 6”4” and 290 pounds, and chose the Aggies over offers from LSU, Oregon, Texas, TCU, Mizzou, USC, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Penn State and Texas Tech, among many others. He is currently ranked as the No. 413 overall recruit, the No. 25 interior offensive lineman and the No. 63 player in Texas, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. While that translates to a three-star rating, it’s worth noting that the No. 402 recruit and above is currently considered a four-star, so he’s certainly on the fringe that could make that jump into blue chip status.
The Aggies now have three offensive linemen in the 2025 recruiting class, with Carty joining four-star OT Marcus Garcia and three-star IOL Joshua Moses. With this commitment, A&M now has the No. 13 recruiting class in the country, leapfrogging Tennessee and Texas Tech.
