2015 – Rasmus joins the Astros
Just a day after trading one outfielder in Dexter Fowler, the Houston Astros signed free-agent Colby Rasmus to a one-year deal worth $8 million. Rasmus played in 137 games that year, switching between the different outfield positions and mashing 25 homers, leading to his coming back in 2016 before leaving in 2017.
