1999 – Moises Alou announced as injured
While working out during the offseason, it is reported by Astros General Manager Gerry Hunsicker that Astros outfielder Moises Alou suffered a knee injury while training in the Dominican. While optimistic at first about it, Alou ends up missing the entire 1999 season with this injury.
2008 – First day of Spring Training
