There will be no two-way stars like Shohei Ohtani in baseball’s next free agency class, and almost certainly not deals like his record-shattering $700 million over 10 years. But there are All-Star sluggers and Cy Young Award winners who could be available next offseason. Big hitters Juan Soto from the New York Yankees and Pete Alonso from the Mets are going into their final seasons before potentially becoming free agents for the first time. So are past Cy Young Award winners Shane Bieber with Cleveland and Corbin Burnes in Baltimore. Other possible free agents include Atlanta pitcher Max Fried and Houston third baseman Alex Bregman.
