Blanco goes to get the Astros closer to closing it out
With an Astros win and Mariners loss the Magic Number drops to two. Blanco has had a resurgence since getting a short break a few weeks ago. He may be competing for the #4 spot in the playoff rotation. The Astros, somehow, are five deep in viable starting pitching options going into the playoffs. Clearly, that doesn’t include the future HOFer.
