Junk got the start and struggled allowing 5 runs over 3.1 innings. The offense got on the board in the 4th on a Melton RBI single. The pen allowed a couple runs and the offense was quiet the rest of the way as Sugar Land fell 7-1.

Ullola got the start but struggled allowing 4 runs over 4 innings of work. The Hooks got on the board in the 3rd on a Sacco RBI single. They got another run in the 4th on a Ferreras RBI double. Dombroski relieved Ullola and allowed 7 runs over 4 innings. The offense got a run in the 7th on an Espinosa solo HR and 3 runs in the 8th on a fielder’s choice, Deming RBI single and Matthews bases loaded walk. That was it from the offense though as the Hooks fell 11-6.

The offense got things going in a big way in the 7th inning scoring 6 runs on a Johnson 2 run double, a fielder’s choice, Morton RBI single, Sherwin RBI single and Janek sac fly. The pen was great tossing 4 scoreless as they closed out the 6-1 win.
