Adolis “El Bombi” Garcia continued his offensive surge.
The right fielder went 4-for-5, including two home runs, scored three runs and drove in five, leading the Texas Rangers to an 11-4 victory over Houston Astros in Game 7 of the ALCS at Minute Made Park.
The Rangers advance to the World Series and will face the winner of the Philadelphia Phillies-Arizona Diamondbacks.
Twitter users responded Monday to the Rangers slugging four homers. Before the Astros recorded the second out of the first inning, the Rangers compiled three runs off four hits. By the end of the sixth, the Rangers led, 10-2.
Astros manager Dusty Baker, a future Hall of Famer, remains winless during Game 7s.
